Family‑owned and happily based in Hertfordshire, we’ve been serving homes across England for more than 30 years. City Glaze Ltd was built from scratch by its founder, Daniel, who started out with little more than a toolbox, a van, and a determination to do things the right way.

In those early days, there were no websites, no social media pages, and no online ads to promote the business. Every single job has come from word of mouth, doing work so good and reliable that customers happily recommend us to everyone they knew. Its only recently that we have built our new website and launched social media accounts, so we can finally share our work and reach more people online.

Three decades later, it’s grown into a successful, thriving, trusted firm, that customers recommend again and again. He now works alongside his son on site, carrying the hands-on craftsmanship and attention to detail that earned the company its reputation. Meanwhile, his daughters look after the day-to-day running - managing the accounts, keeping in touch with customers and looking after our social media, so your needs are catered for, you always know exactly what’s happening and who you’re dealing with.

We take outdated, draughty, inefficient glazing and turn it into something better: brighter, warmer and much more secure. For us, this isn’t just a trade or job, it's the family’s livelihood and passion, built on years of experience, honesty, and doing as we promised. No big corporate structure, no call centres, no hidden costs, just 3 generations of the same family, looking after homes right across the region.

Daniel has poured every bit of his energy and pride into this business since day one. What began as a one man venture grew only through hard work, reliability and making sure every customer is satisfied. He never cut corners or chased quick wins, instead he built City Glaze through one home at a time, leaving them happy and satisfied every time. Even now, after all these years, he stills brings that same dedication to every project, treating property as if it were his own.
